Neighbourly welcome

OK, may daughter is going to kill me for this one but here goes. We have some new neighbours down the street and they have a son one year older than my daughter. She hasn't really said she has taken a shine to him but, she met them while she was out and about with my mom on her new Rascal scooter! She came home and insisted that we make them welcome cards. It was so cute Sam got in on it too and made cards for thier daughter too. Leave it to Sam to make cards for a teenage girl (he likes older women)! Anyhoo when we went to deliver them he wasn't there much to her dissapointment. Now she is riding her bike down to the corner to see if she can be seen! Oh Lord, I am thinking, here she goes into teenagehood. Help! I am terrible at this! I wasn't good at it when I went through it, fought it tooth and nail really! We'll survive I guess!
