Cute card thursday Eyelets

Well summer is still going over here and I am still crazy busy. I am trying to keep up to at least a couple posts a week. Knowing our weather lately I am sure it will rain like crazy someday and I will be able to hide away and have some fun. The challenge this week at CCT is to use eyelets. I tried to be a little different and threaded some ribbon through. Happy carding all!

An award from my blog mom!

I recieved this award from my blogging mommy Glitterbabe. The rule is I have to tell you ten things about myself that you probably wouldn't know, then pass it on to 10 blogger buddies. Here are my 10 things.

1. My hubby and I have loved each other for 21 years, married for 13, and I only felt like strangling him for a total of 2 of them, OK maybe three!

2. I almost died at least 4 times that I know of, only one of which my mom knows of. I insist that I am here for a reason and until I have fulfilled that reason I will remain here no matter what crazy stuff happens to me, that's why I try to do as little as possible (yuk yuk!).

3. I, like glitterbabe also had two miscarriages, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and think they were born, they were girls, and that somehow I lost them and I start to cry and ask my hubby in a mad panic where they are. It's really freaky, cause after I kinda really wake up I realise what's happening and I go back to bed. I still however have this scared feeling like I've lost something that I can never get back.

4. I have been a chambermaid, waitress, desk clerk, EMT (like a paramedic but can't give drugs), fire ranger, and of course a hairstylist.

5. I am a big cry baby! Not to say that I cry to get my way, just that I cry over anything. If I see someone else cry, I cry. I cry over sappy commercials, anything, if someone is mad at me. CRY BABY.

6. My biggest fear is to loose one or both of my children. I have such extreme anxiety over it that I barely let them out of my site. I get flack over it alot and some people are downright nasty about it. I have an active imagination mainly because of things I have seen in my lifetime working in the emergency medical field that would shock the average person. It's like the old saying "Ignorance is bliss.".

7. I LOVE CHOCOLATE! (which is obvious right now!)

8. I have a stigmatism and should probably wear glasses but don't and that's why I squint alot and people think I look grouchy sometimes but I'm not, just blind!

9. I love sports but hate to exercise. Sports let you forget that you are exercising!

10. I will try anything. Sometimes I am sorry I tried it but the point is I tried!

Now I am supposed to pass this on but I am too lazy! So if anyone wants it, take it and let me know you are going to do the 10 things cause I want to know them!

Friday sketchers

Killing two birds with one stone here. This was a card I designed for makinghandmade cardscom. I used the new or soon to be released, not sure which it is, kit called Bella. I got the angel from the Christmas doodles kit.I hand wrote the sentiment which I hate doing but these cards are supposed to be able to be made with simple cardmaking supplies. I used the Friday sketchers sketch so I could enter it there. I know I haven't been posting much, sorry, there are just too many distractions right now. Hope everyone is enjoying the weather and thier families this summer!

NO PICTURE!!

There is no picture with this post! Why, you ask? Because I am at the inlaws right now, half corked, thaks to lovely Lynne and her wondreflufl sangrias!! I just felt the need to update you all on PEGLEG!!!!!!! He is pegleg no more! He is now ex-screwleg! Yep, you heard right. Somehow since his last surgery 5 months ago to repair his torn ACL, the screw the Doc used to attach the ligament to his tibia bone BROKE and was floating around in his knee! Funny thing is that 1 month after his surgery we couldn't figure out why he still couldn't walk right and went to see his surgeon. He proceeded to reef on his leg and tell him there was nothing wrong with it! Ha..... 4 months and 1 broken screw later he still wouldn't even appologize. Just told DH that the removal of the screw wouldn't affect his recovery. UHHHHH think it already did that fool! Everyone is asking if DH is going to sue, he says he is just glad it is fixed now. Lucky doc!
