Sugarplum Fairies

Oh whew, what a weekend! 

 I sure feel like sluffer these days. I have not had any time to draw. I am so sorry. I did manage to squeeze this one out though for my lovely friends over at Susie and Vikki's christmas challenges. This by no means gives away the theme for next week, I am just trying to keep a constant fresh supply of christmas images for them as I will be sponsoring them at the end of every month from now on!  Now I will tell you about my weekend!

Scrappaganza was a blast! What an amazing assortment of deals that I found! OY YOY YOY!

I got scads of gorgeous DP, some double sided and thick too for 10 cents each! OMG!

Die cutters, nesties blah blah blah, I don't want to brag too much!

AND.....

I won a major prize that was worth well over $250.00!

I won a zutter book binder plus the tools and carrying case, and assortment of coils and covers and the list goes on.

The truly funny story behind it is. I have been trying for the last 4 times I have been there to win that set. They have it every time! I was not even in the main room when they were drawing it, but I could hear them from the side as I was talking to my wonderful friend Sandy. She laughed at me cause I am sure she could tell I was distracted and said " I should let you listen for your name!" I paused and said watch this!

I stood in the side room WAVING my hands at Allison who was in the other room but I could see her, chanting "PRAIRIE FAIRY PRAIRY FAIRY!" NO JOKE! That was what I wrote on my ticket!

She stood there looking STUNNED for a bit no doubt thinking "prairie fairy???"

When she called out "PRAIRIE FAIRY" I FLEW out the door and into the common area jumping and screaming for joy! I couldn't believe it! I couldn't stop screaming! I was all over her like a dirty shirt!

I also want to say how much I loved meeting so many new friends there too. You all made me feel so special and I appreciated your heartwarming compliments so much! And a very special thank you to Janet my brand new "stalker" yuk yuk... who drove out to scrappaganza to meet  me! I so enjoyed meeting you and look forward to keeping in touch!
