Fisher Beary!

Ok, so I hope you are not getting sick of Beary yet! This guy is giving me non stop ideas! Me and beary go way back, I just can't stop thinking about him.
Errr, ummmm, that was weird. All kidding aside, here he is. A great Father's day image, long before Easter and Mother's day. Don't ask me to make sense just love me as is!

You can purchase Fisher Beary for $3!

Also, I am going to be hanging around my computer, drawing and making new images most of the day tomorrow. I am going to be watching my PCP group and doing some live tutorials and Q&A. If you have any questions about digital stamping you will want to be there. You name it, coloring images, using photoshop, Whatever you want to ask!

Have a great Friday night everyone!

Up half the night!

Yep! Till 2:00am making my daughter invites for her girlfriends for a sleepover birthday party. Here it is 4.5 hrs later and BOYOING, I'm up, can't sleep!

Here are the results:
I tried to show the glitter and rhinestones in the close up here, but they are still hard to see.

and here is the whole gang.
I used the cake image from Birthday party which is also in Gerry's Birthday set.
I got lazy and didn't add the rhinestones to these. Bad girl! Gonna see if I can find some challenges that these will fit!

Have a great day all! Corry and I are making perogies, the two Ukranian baba's! (for real though not baba's yet) Ok I am Polish and Ukranian!

Another release!

Morning! I would've put this up last night if I didn't have to stay up late helping hubby with prepping for work today, (teacher, needed a game!).

So, I have created another set! Same deal, you can buy separately or the whole set for a discount.

The set is called Gerry's Birthday set, starring Gerry Giraffe. I created my version of a fondant cake. I wanted to put a cake in there and started drawing one like every other stamp I have seen and thought, why not a wacky, crooked fondant cake like the ones I love on the Home and Garden channel. Little different, but different is good!

You can purchase Gerry's Birthday set for $6. What a deal! You are getting these images for $2 each plus with an order over $5 you qualify for the Fairy good rewards program which will give you an additional 10% off this purchase!

or......

just Gerry's Birthday for $3

or........

just the Birthday party set for $4!

You choose! The birthday sentiment is not included in the Gerry's birthday set, but if you purchase the set and would like them I can email them directly to you! I just didn't think to squeezed them in there!

Happy Teusday!

New Release!

Well I did get a lot of drawing done this weekend, unfortunately not as much as I would have liked. I have been struck down with a very bad cold, flu, whatever it is I am stuffed up coughing like mad, watery eyes, fever, you name it!

I have one release completely ready to go for you today though.
It is called Honey Beary. Two funny stories to go with this one. I called him beary because when my daughter was little she had a stuffed bear she called beary and it stuck with us. So this is a tribute to old beary!

Secondly, beary started out BEAR NAKED tehe! Lori came over last night and tried my new prismacolor set I got for my B-Day and colored him up. I of course decided he would be more exciting with clothes and Lori groaned. (I always to this to her, I send her files then change them!) She agreed he was adorable with the shirt but loved him naked too!

So here is the deal, it is actually a set, I decided to throw in a hive with him. You can purchase this set alone OR you can purchase all three for $1 more. Yep, you heard me, you get the bear naked for a $1 extra! Not to mention this purchase will qualify for the %10 off deal at the store sooooo you will actually get the naked bear for .90 cents!
Laughing yet?

Here they are:
Honey Beary Reg set for $5
Honey Beary B Full set for $6!

Please note that the previews on the right were shrunk to fit the preview thumbnail. All files included in this set are FULL SIZED!  This sheet full sized is 6"x7.5"!

Happy Sunday!

PS. I fixed nakey bear Lori! LOL! Better with rosy cheeks?? I forgot!

Tissue Paper Tutorial

I have this tutorial posted at the Prairie Fairy PCP group page but I am going to post it here too.

I used tissue paper and watercolors and watercolor paper to create this background paper. You can also use reinkers too.

Tape your paper to a stable surface and tear up some plain white tissue paper.

Wet the surface of your paper and add some color. Two is usually best and make sure they are not compliments as if you mix compliments they will make mud.
Compliments are:
Red and Green
Blue and Orange
Yellow and purple

Smoosh the paper down onto the surface with a brush and add some more paint if you like. It really stains the tissue well. Let this dry.

Seal the surface with modge podge or watery glue or I used matt medium which is used for sealing, thinning and collage on canvases with acrylic paints. This will prevent the tissue from peeling off.

Here is the finished piece. It will always dry lighter so keep this in mind when painting.
You could stop here or:

I mixed some perfect pearls by Ranger with some of the matt medium and coated the surface to add a glow and shine. I could stop here too or:

You could take some acrylic paint in a contrasting color, here I used gold, and use your FINGER to rub some along the surface of the paper. Where the paper is raised from the tissue paper it will pick up the paint creating even more texture.

Here is the finished paper. Just trim to size!

Here is a close up of the paper showing detail of the texture. LOVE IT!
If you decide to try this why not make a large sheet you can get several small sheets from!

Here is the card I created with that piece of paper!

Sorry guys! I had to remove the picture as I am being published in scrapbook news and reviews!
