For my dad.

I am pretty sure that my dad will NOT see this post and if you know about his big BD party this week don't tell!

I of course made him this card for his 80th birthday! YES you heard me 80th!

I used my image HOISTING SAILS. I colored it in with my prismas and touched up areas and shaded with my copics using w1.

I embossed some chocolate cardstock and distressed it with chocolate ink to make the band in the center.

Sponsoring DCD Christmas club

That's right! It is the end of the month and that means another wonderful sponsorship of the fabulous Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club Challenges!

The theme picked by none other than me is:

A Very Furry Christmas!

I of course made a card for the challenge and I used one of my furry images hehe.

This adorable little image is called SENDING YOU LOVE. I colored him up with my prisma pencils and baby oil/stumps.

Here is a close up so you can see his "furry" trim on his hat which I created with liquid applique and an embossing gun. I just cut the hat out of cardstock and I think it is a little tall and makes him look goofy but c'est la vie right! I glossed up his nose with crystal effects.

AND.... I made my pointsetta with my MS rose leaf punch, viens with copics, center with glitter glue and beads.

I used the sketch over at Friday sketchers. The theme over a Spoonful of sugar is Anything goes so I am there! ABC is D is for distressing and I distressed the edges on my papers. Little Red Wagon's theme is glitter. Cupcake inspirations has a yummy cupcake photo to inspire you, the colors were red green and white!
