I know I have been quiet.....

Yes I have, but it has been with good reason. You see many of you know and for those who do not, I have been busy working on my very first public art installation. As I sit here the final coats of varnish are drying. While I can't show you the canvases yet....I made an invitation to send out to family and friends and I am posting it here for those I may have missed who might like to attend and also for fun really. I just love smilebox, by hallmark. You can make slideshows that blow you away.

Once the big unveiling has taken place I will post pictures of the finished piece. There are 25 16"x16" canvases in total, which I painted 17 of (I have a partner that I collaborated with) and have taken me around 3 weeks sometimes up to 12-14 hours a day to paint, stretch, build frames for and basically finish. I am very proud of the results and can't wait to show you when I can. SHHHHHH...big secret. he he.
